Tool Training

Firstly, our experienced trainers will equip students with the knowledge and skills to use woodworking tools safely and efficiently. Students will learn proper tool maintenance, selection, and techniques to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Next, our trainers cover the design principles, construction methods, and finishing techniques for building cabinets. Students learn to create functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinets using various joints and materials.

Next, we'll explore different joint types, such as pocket screw, lap joints, mitre, and mortise and tenon joints, and learn how to cut, fit, and glue them accurately to create strong and durable connections.

Next is door installation and here we will go through all of the processes needed to get your door ready for hanging.

Health & safety briefings

Lastly, we will thoroughly review all the health & safety briefings needed for our general joinery course. This part of the course shows you how to make sure your workspace is always safe and you know how to carry out your work correctly.

No pupil will leave unsatisfied!

All of our courses have only an estimated duration. If a pupil is not confident or is unsure about a particular area we will invite them back, either in the evenings or another day, whatever best suits them.
